H.A.F.W.A.Y. (Halliwell Action For Work Alongside Youth) is a youth group operating in the Halliwell area. They offer a range of opportunities for children and young people aged 8 – 18 years.

Currently H.A.F.W.A.Y. employs a Christian youth worker, Moira Frew. She is actively involved in the open youth clubs that take place two evenings a week at St Paul's Church Community Centre on Halliwell Road in Bolton. She also runs outward-bound activities.

The young people can achieve their Duke of Edinburgh Award as well as being given the opportunity of traveling to South Africa to build relief housing with the group.

H.A.F.W.A.Y. is now registered as both a charity and a company: H.A.F.W.A.Y. is a Private Company Limited by Guarantee No. 7299262; and a Registered Charity No. 1138279.
